Start your first project with your team

Go from a new account to a project and a task with an owner and a due date. Start on your own, then invite teammates when the work is clear. Available tools depend on your plan and workspace role.

1. Create and verify your account

Register with email and password, or use Google when available. Complete email verification as directed during registration. If invited to a team, use the email address that received the invitation.

2. Set up a workspace and create a project

During onboarding, choose personal or company use and name the workspace. Invitations and company details can be completed later. Once inside, create a project for a specific outcome, such as “Service proposal delivery.”

  1. Use the appropriate existing workspace if you have already joined a team.
  2. Create one small project and define its intended outcome.
  3. Use simple stages such as To do, In progress, and Done.

3. Add a task with an owner and a due date

You do not have to wait for teammates to try your first task. Name a clear deliverable and assign the first trial task to yourself.

  1. For example: “Prepare the first service proposal draft.”
  2. Describe what the draft should include.
  3. Set the owner, due date, and priority.
  4. Open task details to add comments or attachments within your permissions and storage limits.

4. Invite a teammate when you need to collaborate

Invitations are optional during setup. Send an email invitation from team management and select the appropriate role. The person joins when they accept, not when you send the invitation. Review the new member’s access before sharing business information.

5. Agree on an update routine

Update task status as work changes and keep feedback in comments. Review the owner, deadline, and next action when work is blocked. If a tool is unavailable, check your role and plan with the workspace owner.

6. Understand billing before upgrading

Review your plan and resources in subscription settings. Paid plans charge per seat; checkout accounts for your current roster and capacity. Check the amount and term before payment rather than relying on a fixed example price.
